Hey guys, happy new month, its September already and i keep wondering where this year is rushing to i think i might consider 2016 as a trial year because really it has no chill, hope 2017 comes in friendly and takes some time because you know, theres just lots to do . Anywho, I really missed my blog and i can’t believe its almost a month since i updated it but it was a busy August and yeah, i thought i had loads of time . 2016, Really??
Nowadays, whatever item i find i want to style it and blog about it, it so happened when i found this gorgeous tulle skirt or the tutu skirt that a friend of mine gave me because she knew i would make better use of it and yes, i fell in love with it and I could only think of adding an african touch to it, i love how feminine the fabric is and how it brings out the lady in you if styled properly and its more of net, so its easy to pull it off.
So, i paired it with a Chitenge crop top I MADE. yes, i made it guys, and yes, my sewing skills are up a notch, though just a tiny little bit, HAHA. I have been learning to use the sewing machine and i can tell you, its not as easy as it seems.but i hope one day i can be a pro and hopefully soon. i also added a woven cross body bag which has a chitenge pattern as well, also gifted , a very good friend of mine visited me about a week ago, i was his Livingstone tour guide, i took him to all the fun places including the curio market and he bought me this cute little bag, i think being a blogger really comes with a lot of benefits lol. I love it. Then i went less on jewelry, just a watch and a necklace which actually is a belt from one of my old dresses paired with some simple black heeled sandals completed the look.Hope you guys are having an awesome week. Thanks for passing by, see you soon.
